Max had run himself a bit hard today in training, still keeping up with his usual routine around the estate. He was just settling into the kitchen for a break when Alys wandered into the place herself for a bite to eat. Over the past few days she'd continued keeping to herself, processing what she'd learned with her one-on-one time with Veronica. It still left her with a lot of questions, but so far at least she wasn't being denied answers.

She noticed Max looked a bit worse for wear, he mentioned something along the lines of being able to go toe-to-toe with Ruby as War. Some of what he said didn't fully register, other than it was from a more previous chain of events. Ruby didn't quite appear to be much of a fighter, more of a runway model by looks alone...but she'd never learned what talent the other woman could use. Max and Veronica she knew...by first hand experience.

It was, for the most part a casual conversation with Max...though Alys had the nagging question of if they were all broken in some way. She didn't know exactly how to feel about everything that'd changed for her yet, and she knew she couldn't return to the world outside exactly. She felt cut off...and yet Max explained that many of them lived a normal life outside these walls. Two of their group met, fell in love, and got married. Max was planning on going to college. Perhaps she was putting the boundaries in and isolating herself from the world, but she still couldn't shake the reaction about herself from other people.
