Others work to sort out the pieces after the sudden unexpected guests left, while Ruby works with Alys on a plan. Elsewhere in the estate Val is trying to soothe Dylan and having little luck as the young tyke picks up on his mother's distress. Kevin pops in a brief moment later with a pacifier and takes over for Val, holding his son to help soothe the young one after all the recent excitement. The change in Dylan was almost immediate, calming down to a light amount of fussing. Despite his suggestion that she go and take a break, Val couldn't relax. Bringing up the discussion that having Sarah and Mickey looking after their son wasn't going to cut it, one of them needed to be present with Dylan. It brings a stray thought to Kevin about the loss of his own parents, and even while that was under different circumstances, it's not something he wanted Dylan to have to face. They come to the agreement that depending on what the team needs, the other will stay behind to care for their son. This time, it was looking like Kevin may be more helpful in this case, so Val would remain behind with their son. He gets the two settled for the night, giving what reassurance he can before looking for Ruby to find out what help he could provide.
