Uncertain what to expect after recent events, Alys made her way to the Danger Room. Both Max and Ruby were present, though Ruby had odd black fracture lines on one side of her face by a coal black eye. She'd been called there to help, to somehow keep balance and prevent a part of what was in Ruby from breaking loose. She didn't want to be the individual that rebirths Janus. Some of this went a little over Alys' head, but the dire consequences was clear. The casual manner to which Ruby stated some less than agreeable deeds, more for Max's benefit than her own, was unsettling to say the least. It was clear that Layla was in a great deal of danger and the idea in Ruby's mind was a desperation move of sorts, but with some care to apply some caution in its application. Alys spent hours working to exhaustion and then some to test the nature of her own abilities and what could or couldn't be done to tip the scales in regards to Ruby's own inner nature. By morning, there'd be a better understanding to the horrors Ruby locked up inside...and what Alys was capable of...an eye opening experience for all involved.
